This organisation is a leading retail and transport and logistics business who have a dedicated fleet to specialise in what they are known for. They also service well known customers with a significant operational footprint.
**Role Highlights**:
- **Dynamic Environment**: Dive into a fast-paced, growth-oriented atmosphere where you'll pioneer new approaches for ultra-convenience in customer service.
- **High Visibility**: Take on a prominent leadership role in Safety, Health, and Wellbeing (SHW), crucial for driving safe operations in their agile operations initiatives.
- **Collaborative Team**: Become an integral part of the online delivery team and collaborate closely with SHW leadership and operational teams for trusted partnerships.
- **Influential Position**: Shape the organisational approach to SHW by coaching leaders within the organisation and their contracting partners towards enhanced safety practices.
- **Agile Principles**: Embrace agile principles and collaborative ways of working to navigate complex environments and achieve efficient outcomes.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Partnering and supporting the development of safety programs for their teams and partners in online delivery.
- Setting multi-year roadmaps for safety initiatives and ensuring their successful implementation.
- Navigating operationally and functionally complex environments to integrate diverse teams and businesses towards common safety objectives.
- Influencing and challenging organisational approaches to safety, fostering enhanced motivation and ownership among leaders.
- Building and nurturing partnerships internally and externally to ensure safety expectations are met for both on-road and off-road parties.
**Requirements**:
- Extensive experience in safety management, preferably in final destination delivery or equivalent vehicle and people safety.
- A growth mindset and significant expertise in safety operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to drive change and foster collaboration.
- Comfortable working within agile environments and adapting to dynamic challenges.
