Lawyer (3-6 PQE) - Real Estate - Brisbane We are seeking an remarkable Lawyer to join our high performing Real Estate Brisbane team.
This role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to:Join a tier-one ranked real estate practiceCollaborate and contribute to a successful and impactful Real Estate teamWork with a variety of clients, and help our clients bring to life some of the most significant and game changing projects in QueenslandThe roleWorking closely with Michael Richardson and Paula Noble and our wider team, you will gain hands on experience in an array of matters across both public and private sectors, ranging from typical property development work, to large property and infrastructure project work and providing support to a range of other practice groups (i.e. Corporate, Renewable Energy and Resources, Public Sector).
You will be responsible for supporting large property transactions and will be encouraged to foster great client relationships.The team has an unrivalled portfolio of major commercial clients and is renowned for its expertise in advising many major players in the real estate industry.
The team is also considered a trusted advisor to many State and Local Government clients.
With such a broad mix of clients, across differing industries and a balance of private and public sector work you will have the opportunity to work on diverse matters including:a variety of renewable energy projects - we are working on some innovative renewables project including hydrogen, wind farm, solar, hydro and carbon capture, all game changing as the world transitions to renewables;capital transactions work for our large institutional clients;the impactful social and affordable housing projects which will change the life of so many Queenslanders impacted by the housing crisis;transport projects in all forms with focus on improving the rail and road networks and infrastructure across Queensland;other large infrastructure projects including projects in readiness to host the 2032 Olympics; andproperty transaction and leasing work (generally major head office / industrial leasing for our clients).
Skills & ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will haveProperty experience, exposure to different types of property matters and ideally between 3-6 years' post admission experience.Excellent client-facing capability.Effective written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate with impact to both internal and external clients and staff.Strong time and project management skills.The ability to work as part of a team.Strong academic background.An enthusiasm to learn and grow as a real estate lawyer.The Real Estate teamThe Clayton Utz national Real Estate Team is a key player in many of Australia's most significant and complex property projects, earning the title of "Property Team of the Year" in the Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards for two consecutive years.
