Lawyer (3-6 PQE) - Real Estate - Brisbane

We are seeking a remarkable Lawyer to join our high-performing Real Estate Brisbane team.

This role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to:

  • Join a tier-one ranked real estate practice
  • Collaborate and contribute to a successful and impactful Real Estate team
  • Work with a variety of clients and help bring to life some of the most significant and game-changing projects in Queensland

The role

Working closely with our wider team, you will gain hands-on experience in an array of matters across both public and private sectors, ranging from typical property development work to large property and infrastructure projects, providing support to other practice groups (e.g., Corporate, Renewable Energy and Resources, Public Sector). You will support large property transactions and be encouraged to foster great client relationships.

With such a broad mix of clients across different industries and a balance of private and public sector work, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse matters including:

  • renewable energy projects, such as hydrogen, wind farms, solar, hydro, and carbon capture projects
  • capital transactions for large institutional clients
  • social and affordable housing projects impacting many Queenslanders affected by the housing crisis
  • transport projects focusing on improving rail and road networks across Queensland
  • other large infrastructure projects, including those in preparation for the 2032 Olympics
  • property transactions and leasing work, including major head office and industrial leasing for clients

Skills & Experience

To be successful, you will have:

  • Property experience with exposure to various property matters, ideally between 3-6 years' post-admission experience
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Strong time and project management abilities
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A strong academic background
  • An enthusiasm to learn and grow as a real estate lawyer
