**The Position**
- Position Title: Emergency Physician
- Classification: Specialist Year 1 to Specialist Year 9
- Hours per fortnight: 114 hours available
- Employment Status: Full-Time or Part-Time permanent
- Other requirements: COVID-19 Vaccination

**Role Description**
- The opportunity exists for an emergency physician to have a pivotal role in the continuous development of emergency services at Bendigo Health.
- It is expected that the applicant will have strong leadership and communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.
- The emergency physician will support and assist the Director of Emergency Medicine in the delivery of high quality patient care, supervision of medical staff, participation in educational and quality improvement activities, representation at interdepartmental meetings, and recruitment and retention of staff.

**The Team**
- The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women's and Children's, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
