Warrah's main campus is in Dural, situated in a beautiful bushland setting of 12 hectares. It's a community environment with a broad range of services including Supported Independent Living, Community Support Services, Short Stay accommodation and a specialist school. Warrah also has a biodynamic farm and farm shop which operate as a social enterprise.

**About the role**

The Community Engagement Manager will develop and deliver a new community engagement and marketing strategy. This will involve streamlining and strengthening existing channels and exploring new opportunities to engage internal and external communities to support the organisation. This role will also manage and execute various community events, fundraising activities including smaller grants, annual appeals and develop effective communication channels to support the community.

This is a strategic and hands on role and is perfect for an experienced communications specialist with some previous fundraising experience. This purpose driven professional wants to make a tangible difference to help children and adults with disability.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement community engagement and marketing strategies to expand engagement and support of the organisation
- Develop all materials and collateral to enhance the brand recognition and marketing initiatives
- Manage and deliver the organisation's fundraising activities
- Manage Warrah community events
- Oversee the departmental budget and reporting process
- Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships including donors, suppliers, and sponsors
- Represent the organisation at wider community events and functions to promote the brand and services
- Actively participate with Executive teams to deliver key objectives and role model for the wider team
- Develop and deliver effective communication channels within the Warrah community, including newsletters, social media, annual report.

**Essential criteria**
- Proven success in developing and implementing integrated communication strategies
- Previous experience working in a for-purpose organisation with strong community values
- Previous fundraising experience and/or familiarity with fundraising copywriting or fundraising communications
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills
