Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Technical Document Writer
to produce high-quality documentation for projects in the
health sector
and
contact centre
environments. The role will focus on creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical specifications, process documents, and operational guides.
Senior Technical Document Writer, Sydney
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain technical documents, specifications, and process guides for health and contact centre projects.
Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate documentation.
Work closely with project managers, solution architects, developers, and subject matter experts to gather and validate content.
Ensure documentation meets organisational standards, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Maintain version control and manage documentation updates throughout the project lifecycle.
Support the preparation of training materials, user manuals, and knowledge base articles.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a
Technical Writer
or
Technical Document Specialist
in IT or business transformation projects.
Experience creating
technical specifications
for solutions involving health sector systems and/or
health sector systems and/or contact centre platforms.
Strong ability to understand and document complex systems, workflows, and integrations.
Proficiency with documentation tools (MS Word, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar).
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Desirable
Experience working in regulated environments (health, government, or finance).
Familiarity with ITIL, Agile delivery, or project management frameworks.
Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and data privacy regulations.
