With the support of your Centre Leadership Team, Teachers, and Educators, you will be empowered to forge your career whilst working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.You will achieve this by: Maintaining a safe environment for children, families, and team membersComplying with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and RequirementsBuilding and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and familiesActively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre teamSupporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvementContributing to a professional and positive work cultureTo be eligible for a Traineeship you are not able to hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years.
Applicants who have completed a school-based certificate other than in childcare will still be eligible.In addition, you must have: The willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & CareA permanent right to work in AustraliaStrong communication skillsGood time management and organisational skillsAbility to work well individually and as part of a teamEnthusiasm and a positive attitudeFlexible availabilityInterest in early years educationWorking with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one)Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis)(or be willing to receive)Why choose Goodstart?
