Job Description:
ALG has a number of great opportunities for Maintenance Support Officers / Airside Drivers to join a well-established commercial organisation based at Perth Airport. The position will give the successful candidates the chance to get hands on exposure and the opportunity to work alongside aircraft engineers and other aviation based support crews.
The initial expected contract length would be for 6 Months, and successful candidates would be working on a 4 on 4 off pattern. The typical shift time would be from 14:30 to 0230 however, this may slightly vary depending on operational requirements.
This role is offering a starting rate of $38 + Super.
Some of the main responsibilities of the position are:
* Driving airside delivering staff or equipment to the required areas
* Maintaining company premises and equipment
* Performing cleaning duties to ensure safety and suitability for use
* Tool handling and management
* Manual handling (picking and packing)
* Executing related task as part of the maintenance team and tacking instructions from Aircraft maintenance engineers
The successful candidates possess the following attributes:
* Experience working in the Aviation Industry and maintenance or logistic environment.
* Full working rights in Australia
* Willing to undergo a background security check (ASIC)
* Willing to comply with medical requirement (drug/alcohol)
* Strong attention to details, ability to multi-task and good communication skills and
* Demonstrate full compliance will all work rules and regulation.
