The OpportunityA rewarding opportunity to be involved in a Dementia Centre initiative looking to support people living with dementia who are transitioning from hospital settings back to their homes or into residential care.This role offers the chance for professional growth and exposure to a new project, making it a perfect fit for those looking to advance their career.The roleApply your expertise in assessment and biopsychosocial approaches, implement practical, innovative and non-pharmacological strategies to prevent, minimise or respond to changes in behaviour related to dementia.This role is offered as a Fixed Term Contract until July 2028.

Expertise in supporting people living with dementiaExperience in Australian residential aged care and or community aged careBe relatable and able to share knowledge in a way that supports change at all levelsHigh level of negotiation, communication and relationship building skillsExcellent problem solving and decision-making skillsAbility to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent stakeholder managementA current Australian drivers licence and willingness to travelEmpathy and patienceRelevant qualification in Allied Health, Nursing, Aged Care or Mental Health is essentialReady to make a change?
