Reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Procurement, you will partner operationally and strategically with stakeholders to develop category and procurement strategies, oversee sourcing, and manage contracts across diverse indirect categories, delivering excellent commercial results.What You'll Be DoingOptimising contract performance by creating and applying effective Supplier Relationship Management techniques.Providing expert advice and support on all facets of category management, sourcing, and contract oversight.Managing the execution of a procurement project pipeline, prioritising tasks and resources to deliver maximum value to National Intermodal swiftly.Reviewing business and supplier relationships within key categories to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing third-party performance.Working with the ERP project team to drive the adoption, refinement, and implementation of new technology and system upgrades.About YouDegree qualification in a related field, or substantial equivalent experience with relevant professional accreditation (MCIPS qualification highly desired).
Ability and drive to implement plans and achieve outcomes, leading directly and indirectly through the efforts of others, including driving change through transformation programs.Capacity to think strategically, solve challenges, and identify pathways to meet commercial, sustainability, and compliance objectives.Familiarity with NSW Government or Commonwealth procurement frameworks is an advantage.Self-motivated and highly organised, with robust communication, interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail.At National Intermodal, we are dedicated to our people and their professional development.
