Chubb Fire & Security are seeking a Vehicle Fire Suppression Technician working throughout the Pilbara region. The role will be responsible for installation, servicing and maintenance on a variety of fire protection systems and equipment and delivering excellence in customer service.

We have blue chip mining clients that will allow you a broad scope of work and enable you to gain experience and expertise in a wide variety of different systems, vehicles and products. On job training will be provided for specific client systems, although previous experience is essential.

This is a Fly In/Fly Out (FIFO) opportunity, with the option of working 8/6 or 2/2 roster on sites within the Pilbara, with great site conditions and permanent, stable and on-going work available. A vehicle, tools and uniform are provided.

**Key responsibilities of the role**:

- Effectively manage available time and resources and be proactive in problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Achieve full compliance to service delivery and procedural requirements, including quality, EH&S, Ethics and Trade practices.
- Survey customer machines and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment.
- Identify, service, and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance.
- Report work progress and performance by completing productivity and key performance indicator reports.

You will need the following:

- Up to date product and industry knowledge, and an understanding of where to locate the relevant information.
- A solid knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to PEFS Systems fire protection equipment.
- Professional experience or qualifications specified by any applicable local classification structure.
- A technical or engineering competency with the ability to complete identified company, industry and occupational training and accreditation.
- Current Driver's licence.
- Certificate II in Fire Protection, Inspection and Testing.
- Mechanically minded.
