Nextt Newcastle is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate support workers to assist a client with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

This role is essential in providing the highest level of care and support for our client, a male in his early 30s who lives with his young family, based in **Jewells** in the Lake Macquarie region.

**About the Role / Daily Needs**:

- Full assistance with manual handling using a sling hoist
- Personal care, including continence support
- Feeding assistance following Modified Malnutrition Pathway (MMP)
- Support with a home-based physiotherapy routine

**Shifts**:
Monday to Friday - 24/7 shifts available - choose your days/shifts

**Morning**
- 06:00 am to 14:00 pm (8 hours)
- 06:00 am to 10:00 am (4 hours)

**Afternoon / Evening**
- 14:00 pm to 22:00 pm (8 hours)
- 18:00 pm to 22:00 pm (4 hours)

**Nights**
- 22:00 pm to 06:00 am (active nights) (8 hours)

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Proficiency in manual handling and personal care
- Experience with CPAP machines and MND care (desirable but training can be provided)
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with our client

- First Aid and CPR (Current)
