The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager within our Consumer Electronics business unit to develop and implement go-to-market strategies across multiple channels and establish long-term sustainable growth for a dedicated category (Built-In Cooking).
Role and Responsibilities
What you will do
In this role, you will be you be responsible for direct management of a product portfolio including:
Product strategy and roadmap:
- Localise and communicate the global product vision to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and execute product strategies that align with market and consumer needs.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify key opportunities and threats
- Develop go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning and promotional plans
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to refine and optimise our distribution and channel strategy
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create industry-leading communications and enhance our in-store presence
- Engage with key industry stakeholders alongside our sales team to present our strategy and quarterly plans effectively
Revenue, profit and forecasting:
- Achievement of category targets through end to end management of the product portfolio
- Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed profit targets
- Optimise cost management and operational efficiency to maximise profitability
- Utilise historical data, market analysis and consumer insights to develop accurate forecasts
- Collaborate with sales teams to monitor performance and adjust strategies accordingly
Skills and Qualifications
Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of product/category management experience with a proven track record in category management and strong commercial acumen
- Experience with forecasting with full P&L ownership
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric mindset and passion for growth and innovation
