Join Sunwater as a Cultural Heritage Officer where you'll work closely with the Cultural Heritage Specialist and relevant stakeholders for the Paradise Dam Improvement project, supporting the development and implementation of terms as agreed with the relevant parties in the cultural heritage management plan.
As Cultural Heritage Officer at Sunwater, you will: Support the delivery of the Cultural Heritage Survey and Monitoring Programs, ensuring safe and on-time completion.
Engage with Sunwater and Alliance Project Team to ensure Cultural Heritage requirements are met regarding inductions, training, activities triggering field survey and monitoring.
Engage with landholders and the landholder representatives to ensure suitable access to property for field surveys.
Direct onsite Supervision of all engagement with Traditional Owner representatives pertaining to field survey and monitoring activities.
Establish and maintain relationships with Traditional Owner groups, including engaging on-site with relevant group representatives.
We are seeking a talented individual with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role and a proven track record working with Traditional Owner groups and organisations.
You will hold qualifications in a relevant field such as Archaeology, Anthropology, History or Heritage Management.
This is a fixed term 2-year position which offers an array of attractive benefits including a competitive base salary, 12.75% superannuation and a genuine emphasis on work/life balance.
