About This Role
We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in our full software development lifecycle, encompassing design, coding, testing, documentation, refactoring, and maintenance of applications that drive business success.
As a skilled Software Engineer, you will collaborate with architects to shape solution design, champion best practices, and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Leveraging expertise in software development methodologies to guide architectural discussions and inform design choices.
Transforming business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
Enhancing codebase maintainability, observability, and testability through rigorous quality control measures.
Contributing to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and ensuring production readiness.
Assuming ownership of deployments and production support as required.
Collaborating across cross-functional Agile teams, including Product, Security, and Architecture.
Sharing knowledge and mentoring through code reviews, documentation, and pair programming.
Requirements
5+ years professional experience with .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
Strong SQL skills and exposure to various persistence technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Redis, etc.).
Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform and containerization (Docker).
Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), object-oriented programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Octopus).
Familiarity with observability tools (e.g. DataDog, Splunk, NewRelic).
Previous experience in Agile environments, ideally with Extreme Programming (XP) practices (TDD, pair programming).
