Overview

tekFinder have 2 new senior .Net engineering roles for a top 10 fintech business in Sydney who are building a range of new data-driven products for their business. If you're keen on the idea of working with .Net and Azure in a well-funded startup, this could be ideal. This 300 person business has a large engineering team and these roles are for a new product and team they've recently launched. We're looking for our first 2 engineers to work side by side with the GM, Engineering Manager and a data engineering team to build out their new platform; all greenfield work.

We need 2 senior .Net engineers who are able to work solo but constantly iterate, be open to change and take on feedback well. Think of this as a startup team within the current business. We're looking for backend-focused engineers who are comfortable working in a scrappy, fast-moving environment. You'll need to be a strong communicator, work closely with product owners and, although you'll be an individual contributor, be able to engage and enable the rest of the team around you.

Stack includes: C#/.Net Core, TS, Redis, RESTful APIs, microservices, Entity Framework, NoSQL, Azure, CI/CD. Little to no front-end work in React, but that might change over time.

Responsibilities
  • Work solo and iterate on a new greenfield platform, in collaboration with the GM, Engineering Manager and data engineering team
  • Engage with product owners and other engineers to plan and deliver backend solutions

Qualifications
  • Senior .NET engineer with hands-on backend experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with product owners
  • Experience with C#/.Net Core, Azure, RESTful APIs, microservices, and related tools
