The Heavy Vehicle Truck Washer plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and operational standards of the fleet of heavy vehicles.Working on a rotating roster, you will ensure trucks are thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and ready for operation, contributing to safety, efficiency, and the overall presentation of the fleet.
The primary equipment you will be washing will be 60-meter road train combinations.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform exterior washing, interior cleaning, and undercarriage rinsing of heavy vehicles using high-pressure equipment and cleaning agentsEnsure proper handling of equipment and cleaning solutions to prevent damage to vehicles and maintain a safe working environmentComply with workplace health and safety regulations at all timesPerform routine checks and basic maintenance on washing equipment to ensure proper functionalityWork collaboratively with other team members to ensure the timely and efficient cleaning of the fleetQualificationsPrevious experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)Familiarity with high-pressure washers and other cleaning equipmentA great attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical fitness to handle manual tasks and operate cleaning equipmentA valid driver's license (preferred)Knowledge of safety protocols and handling cleaning chemicalsAdditional InformationWhat's on OfferCompetitive hourly rate with applicable shift penalties for night workOvertime opportunities (when required)Super paid on all hours workedPerformance based bonusDepot Wellness Hub – massage chairs, Infrared sauna, hyperbaric chamber, Carol bike, yoga room with more to comeTo ApplyNewhaul believes in the power of a diverse work environment.
