About the IDAM Governance Role

The IDAM Governance & Reporting Analyst is responsible for ensuring effective Identity Access Management (IAM) governance and comprehensive reporting. In this role, you'll monitor compliance, analyse access data, and generate reports to support decision-making and enhance security.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and enforcing IAM governance policies to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Conducting regular access reviews and audits to maintain appropriate controls.
  • Generating and analysing IAM activity reports to identify trends and improvements.
  • Monitoring IAM processes for compliance and addressing non-compliance issues promptly.
  • Performing risk assessments and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Assisting in investigating and reporting IAM-related security incidents, providing insights to prevent future incidents.
  • Collaborating with IT, security, and business teams to align IAM governance with organisational goals.
  • Maintaining documentation of IAM processes and delivering training programs on IAM governance and compliance.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to explain IAM concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across IT, Security, Risk, Audit, and Compliance teams.

Strong understanding of IAM concepts and governance frameworks (Role-Based Access Control, Attribute-Based Access Control, Segregation of Duties, least privilege).

Proficiency in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and analytics to track IAM metrics and compliance posture.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to investigate anomalies and recommend remediation.

Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements.

Proficiency in data analysis and querying and validating identity/access data within identity platforms and connected systems.

Understanding of cloud identity governance.

Strong reporting and documentation skills to support audits, compliance reviews, and governance processes.
