**Job Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Operating large mobile and ancillary equipment supporting the CHPP production tasks as directed
- Working towards achieving the shift plan by being a motivated and enthusiastic team player
- Managing coal stockpile movements and perform train loading operations
- Carrying out maintenance tasks during maintenance periods and breakdowns
- Proactively contributing to the safety of the team by identify risks & hazards and reporting appropriately
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and making suggestions
- Encouraging and modelling good housekeeping & equipment care

**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience and qualifications operating Komatsu Haul Trucks, Caterpillar Dozers, Caterpillar Wheel Loaders and other various mobile equipment
- Minimum 2 years' previous experience in a CHPP or with proven experience executing similar maintenance and operational tasks
- Mechanical or Boilermaker Trade Qualification (essential)
- Detailed knowledge of equipment relevant to the CHPP and systems such as conveyors, pumps, feeders, screens, rotary breakers and training loading systems
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmentally responsible practices
- Excellent hazard identification skills with a willingness to improve safety in the workplace
