Procurement & Contracts Coordinator
Are you a living in the Hawkesbury, Hunter or Central coast region and have experience in government contracts or procurement?
A leading services firm is seeking a Contracts and Procurement Coordinator for a 3 month maternity leave cover role, to start in October.
You will be responsible for providing control and oversight of subcontracted services for a key government client within the infrastructure and facilities management industry.
This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the activities and performance of contractors to ensure continuous service delivery.
Support the procurement team with the onboarding of new contractors and participating in procurement events.
Process invoices, verify pricing accuracy, and assist with general administrative duties.
Ensure all procurement records are well-organized, up-to-date, and compliant with internal policies.
Liaise with client representatives and subcontractors to manage relationships and resolve discrepancies.
About You:
You have 2 years of experience working on government contracts or within a government agency.
You are confident and proactive working remotely.
You must be living outside of Sydney CBD; in the Hunter, Hawkesbury River, Central Coast or Newcastle areas.
Desirable:
Knowledge of facilities management or business operations.
An understanding of procurement or purchasing.
