We are looking for an experienced, and enthusiastic receptionist who can become part of a small friendly team in our medical practice in Parramatta.

The position would be for five days per week (up to 30 hours) and will be available to start in February.

This position suits a receptionist who can work independently but also as part of a small team.

Key areas of responsibility;
- General reception duties (including taking calls, managing appointments, and greeting patients).
- Receiving, scanning, and filing patient medical records
- Payment processing (including invoicing, receipting, Medicare and health fund online claims)
- Organizing patient follow-up appointments, and correspondence
- Communicating relevant inquiries to Doctors and other staff
- Following up on medical reports, typing of Doctors' letters
- organizing doctors' lunches and meetings

To be successful in this role you will need to have;
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Previous medical practice reception experience or reception experience
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Attention to detail and general tidiness
- Professional presentation

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $20.83 per hour

Schedule:

- Morning shift
- Rotating roster

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Parramatta, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical administration: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
