You'll be part of a supportive team that thrives on solving problems, building strong customer relationships, and keeping our customers up and production lines running.Location: We support customers across metropolitan Melbourne, with a strong focus in the northern and western suburbs.
Field work is the core of this role, and flexibility with travel is keyYour day to day will includeBuilding and maintaining positive relationships with customersPerforming scheduled and preventative maintenanceResponding to corrective maintenance calls from customersInstalling and commissioning equipment sometimes across multiple dayWorking in a mix of environments from warehouses to industrial sitesCompleting service reports and managing spare partsTraining operators and ensuring safety standards are always metContributing to after-hours support and occasional travelWhat you will bring to the roleA technical qualification (electrical/electronic trade or engineering) or strong mechanical aptitudeExceptional communication and customer service skills you'll be the face of Matthews on-siteA proactive, energetic attitude with the ability to think on your feet and work as part of a high performing teamFlexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities or environmentsBasic networking or software familiarity (PLCs, data systems; Training will be provided)A valid driver's licenceFlexibility for occasional interstate and regional travel, along with availability for after-hours work and participation in the on-call rosterCompetitive salary package, including on-call allowanceTool of trade vehicle, fuel card, laptop/tablet, and mobile phoneAnnual leave loadingOpportunities for professional growth and ongoing developmentWellbeing initiatives, including access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and an annual wellness dayThe chance to make a real impact in a values-led, purpose-driven organisationPlease note: Shortlisting will commence as applications are received, and this role may close prior to the closing date 05/09/2025How to Apply:Sound like you?
