Join CQUniversity as a Casual Fitness Trainer CQU Gym, located on the Rockhampton North campus, is a multi-functional facility providing access to an indoor gym, outdoor court and tennis courts.

We are currently seeking experienced, friendly and highly motivated Fitness Trainers to join our team on a casual basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to share your fitness expertise with a diverse range of CQU Gym members.Key responsibilities include:Delivering safe and effective exercise programs tailored to individual client needs.Providing initial assessment and initial one-off programs for clients.Supporting clients to achieve their health and wellness goals.Building positive relationships and maintaining strong member engagement.Assisting with day-to-day business operations of the gym including maintaining clean and organised equipment and spaces.If you're passionate about helping others lead healthier lives and enjoy working in a dynamic and supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Position Requirements Certificate III in Fitness (minimum) and experience in a similar role.Proven ability to deliver effective training programs and classes in a gym setting.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented approach and focus on customer service.Understanding of WHS obligations and commitment to safe work practices.Proficient in MS Office and gym management systems.
