These 3-year, fulltime traineeships will offer you paid industry experience, allowing you to get your hands dirty and work outdoors, all whilst studying towards a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Horticulture.**

Day to day you could be working to maintain local community parks and streetscapes or being involved in some of Adelaide's large scale horticultural projects. This role is extremely diverse and will see you completing with lifelong skills and knowledge to succeed in any gardening role.

**Culture and Benefits**:

- Rostered days off (RDO's) each fortnight
- All personal protective equipment (PPE) and work uniforms supplied
- No HEC's or study debt
- Additional licences and training at no cost

**Duties Include**:

- Garden and grounds maintenance
- Mulch, prune, pot, and water plants
- Use of garden tools and machinery
- Brush cutting and mowing
- Pest and weed control
- Install irrigation pipes and watering systems

S**kills and Knowledge**:

- Enjoy working outdoors and with garden tools
- Be committed, reliable and hardworking
- Manage and prioritise time when working under pressure
- Work effectively in a team and unsupervised
- Good communication skills
- Have a can-do attitude, displaying initiative on the job

**Role Requirements**:

- Provisional or full driver's licence with own vehicle
- Physically fit and healthy due to manual labour work
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment including a drug and alcohol test
- Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or similar trade (desirable)
