We have several opportunities available for individuals who thrive under pressure to complete a fulltime traineeship as a Dental Assistant. Our Host Employers are busy practices located within the Metropolitan suburbs of Adelaide.

Upon completion of this 12-month traineeship you would have achieved a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Dental Assisting. **With on-the-job training, mentoring from experienced professionals, and all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided, what's not to love

**Duties Include**:

- Provide chair side support during oral procedures
- Assist to explain treatment procedures and after care to patients
- Sterilise dental instruments
- Preparation of equipment for appointments
- Record and maintain patient information
- Provide customer service

**About You**:

- Genuine interest in dentistry
- Can build rapport with a variety of individuals
- Strong work ethic; reliable and punctual
- Ability to identify times to take initiative and problem-solve
- Works effectively as part of a team and under limited supervision
- Efficient organisational and time management skills
- Comfortable working under pressure

**Role Requirements**:

- Be available to work part-time hours across Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical assessment
- Covid-19 vaccinations, including booster vaccinations (or willing to obtain)
- National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft packages
