Job Summary:
This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in assessing, documenting, and optimising enterprise network infrastructure supporting multiple sites and users.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit and document existing network infrastructure (topology, configs, security controls)
Identify bottlenecks and security gaps, then implement optimisation strategies
Enhance monitoring and alerting for improved visibility and incident response
Support secure remote access, segmentation, and zero-trust initiatives
Assist with Azure networking and cloud transition projects
Deliver detailed network documentation, runbooks, and knowledge
The successful candidate will have experience working across a broad technology stack, ensuring performance, resilience, and security in a highly professional environment.
About the Role
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position at a leading global law firm.
You will work closely with the Infrastructure team to assess, document, and optimise the network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as experience with network infrastructure and security best practices.
The job involves collaboration with various teams, ensuring seamless integration of network infrastructure and services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with network infrastructure and security solutions
Strong understanding of network topology, configurations, and security controls
Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience with Azure networking and cloud transition projects
Knowledge of network security best practices and industry standards
The role requires a strong technical background, with experience in network infrastructure and security.
