As a General Hospital Medical Officer at Eastern Health, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of specialties, ensuring you receive broad and comprehensive experience to shape your future career. Rotations may include:

- Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- Paediatrics
- Orthopaedics
- Aged Care
- General Medicine and Specialty Medicine
- General Surgery
- Rehabilitation Medicine
- Emergency Medicine (Accredited with 20% of Paediatric Patient Presentations)
- Mental Health

You will rotate across Eastern Health's esteemed campuses, providing you with a well-rounded clinical experience and the opportunity to work alongside skilled medical professionals in a variety of fields. You will also participate in a night/relieving roster, gaining a full spectrum of hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Current Registration with AHPRA or Eligibility for Provisional Registration with AHPRA
- Good Time management and ability to prioritise tasks
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the _Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice)_. Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment._
