Exiting opportunity for an experienced Power Transmission Specialist to join our team in Truganina VIC

In this role you will provide technical assistance to Motion Australia branches and customers, on the Motion Australia Power Transmission product range. You will be given free reign to run your own business within a business while being supported by your manger and branch staff to ensure deliverables are met and we remain a trusted advisor to our customers.

To ensure your success, we provide training, coaching, and mentoring. We also facilitate sales conferences to make sure all our hunters are up to date with the current market trends. We promote a collaborative environment to ensure you get the best when it comes to networking and establishing your pipeline

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Build **and maintain strong working relationships with your regions and branch network ensuring effective promotion of the nominated product and service range.
- **Deliver** documented safety, reliability, and efficiency gains for clients
- **Develop **opportunities & delivery training for both internal staff and customers
- **Redesign** work and product recommendations
- **Collaborate **with regional sales and marketing teams
- **Schedule **and complete customer site surveys in conjunction with sales teams
- **Assist**, where required, with liaising, developing, and maintaining existing supply agreements, nominating new suppliers, and reporting supplier events, activities, product initiatives

**Who are you**:

- Power Transmission skills essential (product knowledge of Industrial Geared Motors, Electric motors, Couplings, V-Belts, Timing belts, Roller Chain, Conveyor chain)
- Mechanical Engineering Degree/ Trade background are highly desirable but not essential
- Ability to handle technical sales and service issues and conflict at all levels
- Good communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively
- Knowledge of the bearing and power transmission industry
- Intermediate MS Office and ERP skills
- Valid drivers license, willingness, and ability to travel to regional areas.
