Job Role: Power Transmission Specialist

Our organisation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Power Transmission Specialist to support our Melbourne metro and regional VIC operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with regions and branch networks across the state.
  • Deliver documented improvements in safety, reliability, and efficiency for clients through effective solutions and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and deliver training for internal staff and customers.
  • Collaborate with regional sales and marketing teams to drive business success.
  • Schedule and complete customer site surveys in conjunction with sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to develop, maintain, and refine existing supply agreements.

Requirements:

  • Essential power transmission skills and product knowledge of industrial gear motors, electric motors, couplings, V-belts, timing belts, roller chain, and conveyor chain.
  • A degree in mechanical engineering or trade background is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to handle complex technical sales and service issues and conflicts at all levels.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of the bearing and power transmission industry.
  • Intermediate MS Office and ERP system skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to regional areas as required.
