**Duties and responsibilities**: Providing collection services to Rural Libraries Queensland, Indigenous Knowledge Centres and Queensland public libraries by assisting with the development and maintenance of dynamic library collections in local communities.Contributing to a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful and ethicalSupporting the delivery of a high quality onsite and statewide professional library services for diverse collections and to a broad client base while meeting State Library's service commitmentsCollaborating and building strong relationships with key stakeholders across government, other library industry staff and the professional bodies to ensure that the library and information services are targeted, relevant and appropriate. This includes building and maintaining awareness of current library trends, being up to date on current research techniques, technology, products and services as well as client requirementsThe role description will outline any qualifications, licences and specific requirements of the role.
