**About the role**

DP World Melbourne has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic professional to join our Maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Planning Superintendent, your main objectives will be to support maintenance forward planning for all physical assets allocated to DP World Melbourne's major container handling site. You will also be responsible for maintaining the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide leadership in all areas associated with the execution of tasks for the position of Maintenance Planner/Scheduler
- Immediately address any non-compliance or breach of policy, procedure or direction
- Ensure full compliance with OHS&E statutory requirements
- Lead by example in the execution of safe work practices and ensure continual identification and management of hazards to minimise damage and injury
- Respond appropriately to any incidents in line with safety procedures and policies
- Actively demonstrate visible safety leadership, always enhancing safety culture with adherence to safety practices and procedures
- Develop short and long-term maintenance plans for all equipment
- Assist in the Engineering budgeting process
- Schedule and monitor all aspects of service requirements
- Monitor work order information and update the maintenance system to ensure accurate data history is recorded
- Regulate and schedule major repairs in consultation with Maintenance Planning Superintendent
- Manage warranty claims
- Reporting and making recommendations on future planning and cost analysis
- Plan and manage short term and major maintenance projects
- Prepare maintenance projects scope of works
- Prepare job for implementation
- Monitor and manage maintenance activities costs
- Plan (parts, labour, tools, equipment and methodology) for significant repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ensure service agreements are in place for all routine contract work
- Ensure risk assessments are provided and updated by the contractors and are appropriate for the work to be done
- Manage contractors. Ensure that agreed work by contactors has been completed satisfactorily. Follow up and manage any deficiencies for work completed by contractors. Entered into Maximo work order system
- Ensure optimum use of all resources allocated
- Perform regular maintenance data analysis including continuous improvement solutions where identified
- Produce timely reports as required
- Maintain maintenance data in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Maintain and upgrade systems as and when required, ensuring continuing functionality with respect to any software and hardware utilised by the system
- Ensure that CMMS information, records and documentations are updated in a prompt, accurate and timely manner
- Ensure full understanding of the data to analyse and manipulate it to produce relevant and accurate reports as required

**Experience, Skills & Qualifications**

To be successful in the role you will have following skills & experience:

- Competencies in Training and Assessing / Confines Space Trained viewed favourably but not essential
- Essential prior knowledge and operation of CMMS
- Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance planning management related to heavy industry, associated workshops, planning and equipment
- Knowledge of heavy plant and equipment scheduled and unscheduled maintenance management plans and techniques
- Ability to resolve computer software issues relating to CMMS
