What you'll do
As the Associate Director CCOE Delivery, your position will be extremely versatile and influential. You will coordinate the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCOE) on AWS, Azure, and GCP, guaranteeing adherence to Optus Cyber policies through Control Tower governance. You will coordinate cloud account vendors and lead service whitelisting, and you will implement landing zone hardening across all three public cloud platforms. You will be accountable for cloud infrastructure strategy, composition, and delivery, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the analysis and deployment of secure landing zones on the Cloud Platform, ensuring alignment with organizational cybersecurity policies and guardrails.
Account Lifecycle Management: Coordinate cloud account onboarding processes and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) permissions to support secure and scalable access controls.
Centralized Notification Management: Coordinate and triage cloud-based notifications to ensure timely response and resolution of platform alerts.
Standard Operating Environment (SOE) Maintenance: Manage cloud SOE pipelines, including the monthly release and validation of patched Amazon Machine Images (AMIs).
Service Whitelisting: Maintain and update service whitelisting configurations to support approved cloud service usage.
Proxy Management: Implement and manage forward proxy rules to enable secure outbound connectivity from cloud environments.
Cost Optimization & FinOps Support: Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with the FinOps function to ensure efficient resource utilization and financial governance.

To excel in this role, you will need a proven track record in cloud platform governance and management, with extensive experience across AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms. Your ability to lead and mentor a team, coupled with your expertise in cloud infrastructure strategy, will be critical. You should have a strong understanding of cybersecurity controls and IAM permissions, along with experience in managing vendor relationships and driving cloud adoption strategies. Your collaborative approach and strategic outlook will enable you to successfully implement cloud solutions and integrate new technologies seamlessly.
