Our client, MM Electrical Merchandising (MMEM), is a market-leading electrical wholesale brand and part of Metal Manufactures Pty Ltd - a company with over 100 years of history.

With a national branch footprint of over 300 stores, this role will see you based in Mooloolaba and working particularly with branches in the Northern and Western VIC region.

**Your new role**:
Working in a small, supportive team and reporting to the Regional Credit Manager, this role will see you responsible for the accounts receivable function. You will work closely with both internal and external customers and have the opportunity to use your admin and customer service skills in a variety of tasks, including:

- Responsible for reconciliation of the daily branch banking, posting journals to accounts, and general ledger.
- Oversight of the store banking process.
- Creating customer correspondence relating to assessment decisions.
- Accounts Receivable for the Credit Team.
- Master inbound/outbound calls to assist stores and customers.
- Master taking credit card payments for the credit office.
- Ensure compliance with MML policies and procedures (i.e. SPI's).
- Provide complete backup for the Banking Clerk as required.
- Learn other tasks as required.
- Other tasks as required.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Credit Control experience (desirable)
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Experience in answering the phone in a professional, friendly manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and excellent time management
- Exceptional negotiation skills and a real customer service focus
- Ability to work within guidelines whilst appreciating that some things are not always "black and white"
- Ability to work throughout the busy periods where leave is unavailable (Dec - Jan)
- Drivers Licence
- Full Australian working rights
