**Role Description/Criteria**

At Bethany we hold the care, safety and well being of children as a central and fundamental responsibility of our school.

We are seeking passionate, knowledgeable and skilled full time/part time (negotiable) Learning Enhancement Teacher. Applicants will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. Learning Enhancement Teachers support students needing further intervention in Literacy or Mathematics. They also work with hub teachers (classroom teachers) to support the students with their learning. Graduates are also welcome to apply.

In addition, successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

- commitment to the Catholic Ethos, the principles of Catholic teaching, and living the school's vision
- commitment to the Bethany Child Safe Policy & the Staff Code of Conduct
- commitment to the ongoing professional learning and the continuing development of a positive school culture
- capacity to promote contemporary & innovative practices
- ability to communicate positively and effectively with all stakeholders in the school community.

**Special Requirements**
- accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a commitment to obtain accreditation
- current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
