Overview
Senior Process Intelligence Engineer (2-year fixed term) – Port Kembla, Australia. Part of the Digital Transformation team within the Australian Steel Products portfolio. The role is a 2-year fixed term contract at the Port Kembla manufacturing facility, with six major sites in the ASP network. The successful candidate will lead the adoption of the Process Intelligence toolkit across ASP Manufacturing, scaling proven solutions from single sites to generate business-wide impact.
You will use data to uncover stories, reveal patterns, and spark solutions that transform how manufacturing operates, helping predict analytics, advanced monitoring, and data-driven decision making shape the future of operations to improve safety, efficiency and sustainability.
What Will You Do?
In this newly created role, you'll be building standardised frameworks, replicating proven solutions across sites, and ensuring predictive analytics and advanced monitoring deliver transformational uplift.
lead multi-site process intelligence roadmaps, ensuring solutions are replicated quickly and effectively across sites
partner closely with operations and functional teams to set the strategic direction for data governance and data definitions
establish interoperability across tools, datasets, and departments to reduce duplication and break down silos
mentor analysts, champions, and leaders to build local ownership of tools and insights, growing long-term capability and resilience
deliver measurable improvements in yield, quality, safety, and efficiency through actionable insights
