Education Advocate

We provide immersive technology solutions to Education, Government, Defence and Enterprise. Our focus is on the use of technology to disrupt the traditional classroom, through immersive reality learning and extended reality training simulations.

Reporting to the Head of Education Programs, the Education Advocate will be part of a team that develops our business by connecting with our schools, ensuring customer success with all of our Education stakeholders and be the trusted Lumination partner that circulates feedback between client and our internal teams.

**A day on the job will see you**:

- Being responsible for managing relationships and the ongoing feedback loop with key stakeholders and decision-makers at our schools - connecting them with what and who they need to see the most success in their Lab
- Being an ambassador of Lumination out in schools with teachers, educators, ICT and leadership staff by traveling out to our sites regularly and fostering impactful relationships
- Managing the in-person and online Lumination community of Educators, including organising customer meet-ups and designing smart, creative initiatives that support the role's objectives
- Owning the customer-success health scoring process, including performing quantitative and qualitative check-ins with schools, listening to many voices in the school environment, knowing where our schools are in their lifecycle and therefore allow us to the be change-ready and always ahead of the curve
- Driving passion and engagement with the technology in our schools, including investigating trends and potential blocks to usage and providing strategic solutions to the customer as well as feeding that information back to sales, marketing and relevant internal teams for analysis and action
- Supporting our internal teams to source and develop content that demonstrates the good-news stories of the technology, feeding back what can be improved upon and further product development and developing school profiles for fostering collaboration and engagement between schools

**To impress us you'll need**
- A passion for and understanding of best practice when using emerging technologies like VR, AR, AI, and coding in the classroom
- Good technical skills and a finger on the pulse of EdTech trends
- Engaging presentation skills, that can be tailored to each client's needs
- Excellent communication skills and a drive to build strong relationships with teachers, principals and other stakeholders
- A tertiary qualification in Education (strongly preferred)
- Experience in customer service or customer success position (strongly preferred)
- A passion for helping schools achieve great outcomes through positive customer experience
- Relevant training in mandatory notification (RRHAN), first aid and the ability to obtain a Working with Children's Check/s for the state you are working in
