**YOUR OPPORTUNITY**

Due to the movement of our current team member into a new and exciting role within our business, we are looking for an experienced **Purchasing, Inventory & Expediting Manager **to join our national team. The role will see you based in our **Regency Park **office and is responsible for providing exceptional levels of service to our customers in the **SA/NT** region, in-line with our brand offering.

Key day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Manage an integrated process to align Blackwoods brand offering with Sales opportunities and Supplier service offering
- Optimize the value chain relationships for SA/NT Region to ensure sales growth is maximised whilst challenging the use of capital effectively
- Lead supplier engagement for the State, working with Sales and Category to provide our suppliers with a key contact to help improve the customer experience
- Identify and lead implementation of agreed strategies to reduce costs whilst maximising our customer experience
- Aligning management style to Blackwoods behaviours - Customer First, Boldness, Accountability, Integrity and Openness

Requirements for success:

- Substantial Purchasing / Inventory Management experience in area of expertise to a fully competent level
- Previous experience with managing strategic client & customer relationships to maintain customer satisfaction
- Can demonstrate bringing organisation values to life and how they have been embedded into teams previously
- Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives, with strong people management skills and a solution focused approach
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field will be highly regarded
- A good understanding of forecasting processes, as well as highly proficient with Microsoft office programs
