**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are seeking a driven and highly focused Planner / Scheduler to join our Capital team, based at Tomago NSW. You will take responsibility for the planning and sequencing of work in multiple work centres to meet production schedules and maintain all planning information.

Your planning expertise will play a pivotal role in ensuring we provide exceptional customer service in meeting client's production needs.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient planning systems and coordinating production activities to meet the manufacturing schedules in a timely and efficient manner. In this position you will work to integrate multiple manufacturing schedules into detailed production plans for each work centre.

Predominately your focus will be on developing and maintaining these plans within our ERP system and scheduling software along with ensuring reporting and communications systems keep all stakeholders accurately informed.

**YOU'LL NEED THESE TO SUCCEED**

Your willingness to gets hands on in a technical manufacturing environment will be complemented by the following:

- Demonstrated experience in coordinating multiple activities
- Proactive, self-motivated and willing to take on ownership & responsibility
- HSC or trade qualifications
- Experience working in a varied manufacturing environment that includes ETO and Standard Products
- Proficiency in the use of scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project
- Competent user of Microsoft Dynamics 365 - advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively and build good working relationships with colleagues.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques - advantageous
- Willingness to adapt and thrive in an environment where change is the new normal.
