Mercy Community is expanding in all of its service streams. To support us through peak change and transformation, we are seeking a passionate and collaborative **Communications Advisor** to join our dynamic and fast-paced marketing team based at Nudgee. **The Role**:
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering strategic and tactical communications advice, whilst supporting the delivery of key communications projects. Key responsibilities include:

- Developing internal and external proactive and reactive communications strategies, concepts, and materials to execute over a range of communication channels.
- Providing high-level, accurate, timely and strategic communications advice and support to the senior managers and wider Mercy Community team.
- Preparing media releases, responses, and key messages as part of Mercy Communities' corporate media relations strategy with the view to raising Mercy Community's public profile.
- Fostering relationships throughout the organisation and providing a high level of customer service.
- Developing internal communications channels and strategies to help staff understand Mercy Community's vision and the role they play in helping us achieve our goals.
- Engaging closely with teams across all levels of the organisation to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Support Mercy Community with general/ad hoc internal and external group communications.
- Collaboratively work with the Marketing and Communications Manager to cement the Mercy Community brand into the organisational culture.

**About You**:
To be successful in the role you will have extensive experience in a similar role either from an in-house or agency environment, along with tertiary qualifications in Communications / Journalism / Public Relations or related field. You will have highly developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to write clearly, concisely, and appropriately for specific audience groups.
