This role is the primary point of contact for the APAC VP - Operations and Technology, to turn requirements into implementation from an Infrastructure perspective.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Project Delivery:

- Running Infra Project Board
- Estimating and planning projects with the disciplines e.g., Linux, net eng. etc.
- Keeping track and reporting progress.
- Be aware of and coordinate global projects such as a new business expansion into APAC, etc. understand local impact and how these fit with other priorities.
- Finance:

- Annual budget preparation - with Finance create the draft budget for the year ahead, socialise it with stakeholders and finance etc.
- Keeping track of hardware, which is coming to end of life, when we need to refresh it and what we need to replace it with.
- The latter point required some technical knowledge to collaborate with discipline leads in the CGM to find out what the de facto replacements are for kit that is due to be replaced.
- Overview of purchase orders in Workday, understand the various ways of ordering, quarterly Opex and Capex reviews with Finance
- Once the annual budget above is finalised, spend needs to be proactively tracked against this with Finance
- APAC Infrastructure Capabilities Management:

- Answering the 'can we do this' type questions quickly with his holistic view of our infrastructure.
- Where required, meeting with key customers to help them understand the scope and capabilities of the Cboe infrastructure in APAC.
- Operations Management:

- Approving change management tickets for work each team (net eng, linux ops etc).
- Demonstrate control and oversight of the technical changes being made.
- Jira APAC Review and management, access reviews and access approvals
- Escalation path for infrastructure issues and code reds.
- Be the initial point of contact for infrastructure-related issues at the data centre, network etc due to weekend or evening work.
- Owner of Infra specific items on APAC Risk Registers. Reviewed with Compliance teams on a quarterly basis
- Incident management follow-ups, chairing infrastructure specific post mortems.
- Ensuring PMs are conducted, that follow-ups are raised appropriately, that the teams are held to account and also reporting on their progress in the monthly incident management review in APAC.
- Representing infrastructure at intragroup service reviews:

- Cboe Services Australia providing services to CXA
- Cboe Services Australia providing services to CXJ
- Responding to audit points and handling regulatory inquiries
- Vendor Risk management, onboard vendors, periodic review via Onspring with APAC Risk team members

**Job Requirements**
- 15 years' experience as a technology professional, with specific skills in Linux (Redhat or CentOS preferred), large data centre server environments, CISCO and JUNIPER network technology
- CISCO CCNE certification
- Strong knowledge of Java and MySQL preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Domain management and support skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong integrity, disciplined work ethics, self-motivation and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent project management and budget management skills with focused attention to detail and rigorous attention to meeting time and budget commitments
- Ability to work unsupervised and develop innovative solutions to technical problems.
- Strong team player prepared to get involved in multiple tasks with an ability be flexible, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical skills with a proven ability to keep skills current and relevant
- Ability to work with diverse personalities, cultures and business practices inherent to an international operation; a team player.
- Minimum Years of Work Experience: 15
- Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor Degree
