We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Compliance Officer to support our Service Delivery team in ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient bus operations in Region 9. Your role will be essential in leveraging technology to enhance service delivery and maintaining compliance with key operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer and oversee the Fatigue Risk Management System to ensure workforce compliance.
- Monitor and manage driver license records and other compliance information in our rostering system.
- Ensure strict compliance with relevant legislation, including National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) requirements and industrial instruments.
- Collaborate with Payroll and People & Culture teams to generate fortnightly pre-pay reports and address pay-related issues raised by employees.
- Act as the go-to resource for operational compliance and regulatory support.
- Assist the Network Planning team with roster development and ensure changes are communicated and implemented effectively.
- Coach and support Roster Clerks in maintaining compliance with legislation and award provisions.
- Provide management with proactive advice on process improvements and best practices.
- What We're Looking For:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an operational or analytical role, preferably in the transport or service industry.
- Strong understanding of National Heavy Vehicle Law, Accreditation Standards, and Chain of Responsibility Legislation.
- Experience in Advanced Fatigue Management (TLIF0006) is highly advantageous.
- Experience using rostering and scheduling tools such as HASTUS is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Project management experience is an advantage.
