We are seeking a Payroll Administrator who will be responsible for end-to-end payroll management, processing, end of month, and end of financial year reporting.

Your new role will assist with the following duties
- Prepare, process and review fortnightly and/or semi-monthly payrolls for assigned payroll entities.
- Data Verification/ checking of other areas within the payroll department
- Interpret and adhere to all company policies, government regulations, as well as SOX controls relative to payroll processing.
- Process and review employee terminations
- Provide support to the sites with regard to payroll enquiries.
- Prepare adhoc reports as requested and respond to routine questions from employees, internal and external customers.
- Interpret and ensure strict adherence to all payment terms of statutory requirements and project agreements.
- Assist in processing month end reports to relevant 3rd parties.
- Adhere to all SOX controls with respect to proper authorization of payments and processes as set out within current Business Controls System.
- Responsible for performing SOX controls for the Payroll Processing area to ensure they meet internal and external audit requirements.

What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 12 months payroll experience using any modern payroll software - experience with UKG (Kronos) or JDE (Oracle) will be beneficial
- Exceptional attention to detail whilst working in a high-volume role
- Advanced skill level using Microsoft Office packages, specifically Word and Excel
- Experience in interpreting awards and statutory legislation is an advantage
- The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Previous experience with high volume (500+ staff) payroll an advantage
