A rare opportunity to join our
**experienced** and
**supportive** payroll team within Icon's People & Capability department (Level 4, 22 Cordelia St, South Brisbane). Our team supports the remuneration function across multiple Icon brands/divisions, including private healthcare, pharmacy, pharmaceutical compounding, research and shared services; operating under a variety of awards and EBA's.

**About the Role**:
We have a new opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our existing payroll team based at our head office in South Brisbane. Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operating aspects of Icon's payroll systems as part of a well-established and supportive team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role will operate on a full-time basis, on a 6-month contract.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Ensure delivery of an efficient and accurate payroll end to end service
- Maintain employee and standard payroll data and make approved changes for each pay run including onboarding, terminations, leave, adjustment calculations and request
- Ensure each pay run is calculated and processed accurately (in accordance with Award and Certified Agreement terms and conditions of employment), including one-off and separation payments
- Ensure adherence to legislative requirements regarding payroll tax, Parental Leave, Superannuation and WorkCover
- Provide advice and support in relation to payroll, superannuation, tax enquires and business escalation
- Proactively identify opportunities to automate, streamline and simplify payroll processes
- Investigate and resolve payroll queries

**About you**:

- Ability to execute tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
- End-to-end payroll experience
- Experience using ichris/Chris21 preferable
- Professional demeanour and communication
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to provide advice, and problem solve on a wide range of payroll issues
- Exposure to multiple awards and EBAs
- Customer focus driven
- Approachable and positive personality
