**About the Job**
The position of Relief Retail Store Manager will be based in our support office in Beenleigh to assist our stores in the QLD and NSW regions.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, relief store managers are key in the day-to-day management of our operation, including overall responsibility for customer service, end-to-end store management, including facilities and people management.
Key responsibilities of this role shall include, but not be limited to:

- Cover store managers during leave and short staffing periods, ensuring the store is ready for business every day.
- Implement and maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store appearance.
- Visit and assist with projects, including new store fit outs, refits, store closures, and remerchandising.
- Lead by example to promote the Price Plus brand and culture internally and externally by living our values and beliefs.
- Ensure we provide service excellence to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform all daily administration procedures accurately, including completing all required reports and/or paperwork as per company guidelines.
- Recruit, train, lead and engage the team by providing structured feedback and coaching to develop the team with a clear vision and goals to ensure the team is always achieving peak performance.
- Manage rosters, attendance, and other HR functions within legal requirements.

**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Solid previous experience as a retail leader managing the daily operation of a high-volume retail store in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to supporting store managers in diverse locations across Australia would be a plus.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication and listening skills with a resilient and confident profile.
- Effective management and leadership skills with previous exposure to leading a diverse team through recruiting, training, development, and motivation techniques.
- Understanding of human resources, payroll, and collective agreements/awards, managing time, rosters, and people's performance.
- Demonstrated results delivering outcomes and achieving KPI's with the ability to set and deliver high standards of customer service.
- Highly organised with good prioritisation and time management skills to effectively plan and organise your own workload and establish priorities with the store team.
- Strategic and logical intelligence with previous experience creating, analysing, and delivering store and stock/inventory reports and audits.
- Knowledge of computerised systems, time and attendance, workplace management and training systems, POS systems, Microsoft office, and administration procedures are essential.
- Ability to problem solve, think outside the box, and make decisions on the spot.
- Flexible and adaptable to change with balanced emotional intelligence skills.
- Availability to work long shifts, weekends, holiday and key event periods, when necessary, to meet the business requirements.
- Availability to travel to various locations within our store network is a must.
- Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, push and pull, some heavy lifting, and stand for extended periods of time.
