**About the Role**

The Foster Care Team Leader reports to the Foster Care and Permanency Programs Area Coordinator. This role will be responsible for leadership and service delivery of a casework, carer support or contact worker team to ensure the requirements for the young people, families and carers we support, the community, state government and legislation are met.

**Duties**
- Lead and manage foster care team performance
- Improve processes for carer support and casework
- Monitor and ensure compliance with case documentation
- Build internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Respond to incidents and oversee service contracts

**Skills and Experience**
- 5+ years in therapeutic or family-based care
- 3+ years in leadership within child/family services
- Proven supervision and reflective practice skills
- Strong knowledge of child protection legislation
- Direct experience supporting complex young people
