Job Title: Foster Care Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Foster Care program. As a team leader, you will oversee a team of professionals in delivering effective case management services.

The role involves:

  • Overseeing and managing the provision of permanency services to ensure the best outcomes for children, young people, and their families
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement support plans tailored to individual needs
  • Providing guidance and support to staff members, ensuring a cohesive work environment

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with various stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery
  • Managing resources and prioritizing tasks to achieve project goals
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in social work or a related discipline
  • A minimum of five years of experience working with Children and Young People in Out-of-Home Care (OOHC)
  • Experience in working with Aboriginal young people, their families, and their communities
