In this role of Learning Manager you will be responsible for understanding the collective learning and development needs of the Qantas Group operations across our Airport operations in line with the broader business strategy. Embedded in the senior leadership community, this role is accountable for the governance, strategy, development and delivery of training and customer experience learning programs for their allocated portfolio. Planned domestic travel may be required from time-to-time to help deliver on these objectives.

As a key business partner you will provide expert advice, leadership, coaching and strategic solutions, leveraging off current adult learning methodologies, to ensure the smooth transition of business strategy and operational requirements into training delivery and implementation, in an innovative, timely and cost effective way. As Learning Manager, you will build effective working relationships across the portfolio and manage a variety of stakeholders, working together to drive operational /customer experience excellence and continuous improvement across performance targets.

What you'll bring to the role:
- 5+ years' experience in, training management and/or facilitation roles.- Tertiary qualifications in Adult Education or related discipline.- Strong knowledge and understanding of an operational environment, preferably experience working in an operational area- Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills as well as knowledge of adult learning principles through various training methodologies and learning solutions.- Experience working in L&D - training management, business partnering, consulting or similar activities.- Business Partnering and Influencing skills, especially at strategic and senior leader level.- A strong customer and delivery focus.- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Sound analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.- Exceptional leadership and people management capability with the ability to lead, motivate, engage and develop high performing teams.- Project management and process improvement experience and expertise, including experience managing change.- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to deal with ambiguity and complexity.- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to effectively address even the most resistant stakeholders and challenging situations.- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and think both critically and strategically.- High degree of computer literacy - experienced user of MS Office suites.
