The primary responsibility of this role is to provide expert guidance and support in managing daily operations and oversight of key regional charter airports. This includes:

  • Assisting with training development to ensure that airport teams are equipped with the necessary skills to deliver excellent services.
  • Ensuring continuing compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Overseeing the procurement and maintenance of ground support equipment (GSE) to ensure seamless airport operations.
  • Developing action plans in response to safety incidents and audits to mitigate risks and improve overall performance.

As a Charter Airport Coordinator, you will be part of a team focused on driving continuous improvements in safety and operational performance across the portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing action plans addressing safety incidents, audits, or events to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.
  • Serving as the operational point of contact for assigned airports, analyzing performance indicators, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Championing the interests of stakeholders, facilitating outcomes, and working closely with key customer contacts to achieve internal performance targets.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of and demonstrated experience working in airport operational environments.
  • Minimum Year 12 education, with tertiary qualification or safety qualifications desirable.
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
