**Job Description**:
This role will suit an HSE Advisor or Manager looking for their next career step with a large and diverse organisation that can offer stability, a career pathway and ongoing development through practical experience and online education. Based in Truganina and supporting our Grocery business unit, this role will focus on the Truganina site as well as 2 sites in Laverton.

This is your chance to make an impact by identifying continuous improvement opportunities, liaising with the customer to implement new initiatives that are not only safety focused but commercially viable and successfully delivering safety plans. You will bring your expert ICAM investigation experience and work with operations teams to further improve the safety culture in these fast-paced, high energy Transport environments.

**Key accountability and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:

- Take the lead in coaching and mentoring on HSE strategies and activities that allow and encourage a safety obsessed culture.
- Identify and implement HSE training and communication programs.
- Liaise with the customer and build a relationship that demonstrates your safety and commercial awareness of their business.
- Attend and develop materials/ provide data for HSE Meetings/ HSE Toolbox (Pre-start) Meetings.
- Conduct regular site HSE inspections with business stakeholders to drive improvements on site conditions.
- Conduct ICAM incident investigations to determine root cause and timely corrective action
- Review contractor HSE performance, including the pre-qualification / engagement process.

**Qualifications**:
**To be a success in this role you will possess**:

- 3-5 years practical experience in a HSE role with a focus on transport.
- ICAM qualified and a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and / or other relevant discipline
- Sound knowledge of Logistics/Transport safety legislation, including COR, Heavy vehicle compliance, Audits, Risk evaluations, and training resources.
- Excellent written and communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with fellow team members, management, stakeholders and industry experts and write high quality reports.
- Strong customer management focus and influencing and coaching skills.
