Perten Instrumentsis a successful operational division of PerkinElmer and provides innovative analytical solutions for quality control of Flour, Food and Feed products, in particular dairy and grain industries.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experiencedManufacturing/Instrument Technicianto join our Sydney team. The Manufacturing/Instrument Technician is required to assemble, calibrate and test instruments within specified production times and support other production activities as required.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Manufacture instruments to specific requested time frames
- Manufacture extra sub-assemblies as required
- Take responsibility for quality control, adhere to build standards and quality requirements e.g. ensure calibrated test equipment is used
- Provide due care during all stages of manufacture
- Ensure stock levels are adequate for future production runs
- Ensure efficient use of building time
- Keeping a clean working area
- Assist R&D development when required
- Have a working knowledge of the company database and purchasing system
- Undertake additional tasks such as preparing spares orders as required

You are expected to adhere to all occupational health, safety, quality assurance & environmental systems rules, policies and procedures and maintaining a 'safety first' approach at all times.
